REVOLUTIONS IS HERE
The 2021 Revolutions International Theatre Festival, October 20 through Nov 6, 2021, spotlights the cultural wisdom, resilience and creativity of Colombia, Haiti and Uganda through 2 live events and multiple performances, panel discussions and workshops that are live-streamed and featured online. Revo Inc is delighted to partner with the Revolutions Festival’s longtime collaborator the National Hispanic Cultural Center.
The 3-week festival seeks to shine a light on larger themes of collective liberation and healing by celebrating the stories, beauty and magnitude of Colombia, Haiti and Uganda. The programming in Colombia (October 20-24) will explore the dexterous nature of circus arts rooted in youth community exchange. The work of Haiti (October 27-31) will expand perspectives on spiritual ceremony, gender identity and indigeneity globally. The artistic discourse of Uganda (November 5-6) will further weave narratives of indigenous civilizations and a reclaimed world heritage.
The Revolutions Festival is made possible through the generous support of the City of Albuquerque Department of Arts and Culture, New Mexico Arts and the Urban Enhancement Trust Fund.

Support the Revolutions Sustainability Fund
Revo Inc envisions a world in which artists thrive as social partners in creating healthy, inspiring, resilient and peaceful communities. As part of this year’s festival, there is an intentional effort to generate micro-investments for the livelihood and wellbeing of the artists and communities of the three featured countries, through the creation of a first-ever Revolutions Sustainability Fund. The purpose of the fund is to support infrastructure and capacity needs ranging from education, technology and housing for the artists and curators in Colombia, Haiti and Uganda.
We invite you to donate at a level that aligns with your own sustainability. No amount is too small nor too large! Your contributions directly impact both the lives and communities of artists and allow Revo Inc to expand additional support to this year’s presenters.
